WHEREAS, Penny Hampton has served the State of Nevada with distinction and professional excellence for 28 years; and

WHEREAS, Penny began her career in state service on August 15, 1991, with the Department of Taxation, where she will be retiring as a Budget Analyst II; and

WHEREAS, her dedication and knowledge of governmental financing has been invaluable to the State, Department and Committee of Local Government Finance; and

WHEREAS, Penny has distinguished herself through her commitment and service to the state, and she will sincerely be missed, both professionally and personally, by all who have had the pleasure and good fortune to work with her; and

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada thanks Penny Hampton for her years of service to the citizens and visitors of our great state and offers best wishes for a happy and fulfilling retirement;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, STEVE SISOLAK, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim November 14, 2019, as a day in honor of
