WHEREAS, Rae Jean Boyer is retiring from the Department of Public Safety on February 6, 2026, with 29 years of professional excellence and loyal service to the State of Nevada; and

WHEREAS, Rae Jean has demonstrated nearly three decades of public service, an unparalleled commitment to excellence, ensuring that the vital functions of human resources were carried out with the highest degree of professionalism, integrity, and care; and

WHEREAS, Rae Jean's role as a "Human Resources Technician" far exceeded the technical aspects of the title, as she consistently offered a listening ear, a compassionate heart, and a genuine desire to see every individual succeed; and

WHEREAS, Rae Jean's 29-year legacy of reliability, institutional knowledge and kindness has left an indelible mark on the lives of those she served and set a "gold standard" for public service and administrative excellence within the State of Nevada; and

WHEREAS, Rae Jean has endeared herself to all with her vast knowledge, commitment to service, compassion for others and will be sincerely missed, both professionally and personally, by all who have had the pleasure and good fortune to work with her; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Safety and the State of Nevada joins with friends, co-workers, and management in expressing our profound and sincere appreciation for Rae Jean's 29 years of her historical knowledge and skill, and exemplary, honorable service, earning her the right to enjoy a well-deserved and happy retirement with her sons, Tommy and Liam, three grandsons, Wesley, Bronson, and Graham and other family members and friends all by her side; and

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada recognizes the exemplary service of this dedicated state employee and wishes her for a happy, healthy, and fulfilling retirement;
