
WHEREAS, Chief Mike Dzyak has diligently and exceptionally contributed twenty-five years of outstanding service to the State of Nevada Fire Service; and
WHEREAS, Chief Dzyak has served with unwavering dedication as the Nevada State Fire Marshal, demonstrating exemplary leadership and commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of all Nevadans; and
WHEREAS, Chief Dzyak has been at the forefront of advancing fire prevention, investigation, and suppression standards, significantly contributing to the improvement of health, wellness, safety and leadership development for first responders across Nevada; and
WHEREAS, Chief Dzyak's strategic vision and operational expertise have produced numerous advancements in fire safety protocols and emergency preparedness throughout the State of Nevada, ensuring our communities are better equipped to face an ever-changing disaster and emergency environment; and
WHEREAS, Chief Dzyak has been a long-standing mentor, colleague, and steadfast supporter of the law enforcement officers and Nevada state firefighters, providing invaluable leadership to both career and volunteer firefighters throughout the State of Nevada; and
WHEREAS, on behalf of Nevada first responders and the citizens of the Silver State, we extend to Chief Mike Dzyak our sincere thanks and profound gratitude for his twenty-five years of professional excellence and loyal service to the State of Nevada Fire Service;
