
WHEREAS, Lynette Giles is a dedicated and exceptional public servant who has diligently contributed 30 years of outstanding service to the State of Nevada; and
WHEREAS, Lynette began her career with the State of Nevada on June 12, 1995, as a Clerical Trainee with the Division of Welfare & Supportive Services at the Carson City Administrative Office - which remained her duty station for the entirety of her career; and
WHEREAS, Lynette's career with the Division of Welfare progressed through the Management Assistant series and saw her serve as an Executive Assistant from 2001 until 2011; and
WHEREAS, Lynette was promoted to Management Analyst III in the Eligibility & Training Unit. In 2023 she transferred to the FACT unit, from whence she will retire; and
WHEREAS, Lynette has served the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services with dedication and commitment, a high level of competency, and a broad range of skills to support the Division in its mission to provide qualified Nevadans in need with the services offered to help build better lives; and
WHEREAS, Lynette has provided valuable service to the Carson City Administrative Office of the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services. She has touched the lives of many employees demonstrating thorough understanding, pleasant disposition, a sense of humor and helping with the morale of the administrative office; and
WHEREAS, during her 30 years of service Lynette Giles has worked under six Governors, Bob Miller, Kenny Guinn, Jim Gibbons, Brian Sandoval, Steve Sisolak and Joe Lombardo; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services and the State of Nevada expresses sincere thanks and gratitude to Lynette for her years of dedication, devotion and honorable service. We extend our best wishes for a healthy, happy, prosperous, and fulfilling retirement;
