WHEREAS, Patricia Roth is retiring from the Department of Motor Vehicles on January 17th, 2025, with 30 years of professional excellence and loyal service to the State of Nevada; and

WHEREAS, Patricia started her career with the Department of Motor Vehicles on September 28, 1994, working in the Information Technology Division; and

WHEREAS, Patricia transferred within the Department of Motor Vehicles to the Motor Carrier Division in February of 1998; and

WHEREAS, Patricia transferred to the Department of Taxation in May of 1998 where she began her career with the Department and in August of 1998 was promoted and began her career as a Tax Examiner; and

WHEREAS, Patricia transferred to Department of Motor Vehicles, Motor Fuel Industry Unit, Motor Carrier Division in January of 2002 where she continued to work as a Tax Examiner; and

WHEREAS, Patricia was promoted to Auditor 2 in the Motor Carrier Division in February 2003 and promoted up to an Auditor 3 in October 2005; and

WHEREAS, Patricia was promoted to the Audit Manager in the Motor Carrier Division in April 2014, where she has served for over 10 years; and

WHEREAS, Patricia will be sincerely missed, both professionally and personally, by all those who had the pleasure and good fortune to work with her; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Motor Vehicles and the State of Nevada joins with co-workers and management in expressing our profound and sincere appreciation for Patricia's 30 years of outstanding service to this department and the residents of our Silver State, earning her right to enjoy a well-deserved and happy retirement with her husband Tim, daughter Michaela, son Jonathan and other family members all by her side;
