WHEREAS, Patty Towler has served the State of Nevada with distinction, and professional excellence for 30 years; and

WHEREAS, Patty began her career in state service in nurse endorsement application processing with the Nevada State Board of Nursing on March 7, 1994; and

WHEREAS, Patty continued her administrative career with the Nevada State Board of Nursing where she promoted to various positions within the Nevada State Board of Nursing including certified nursing assistant application processing, certified nursing assistant training program approval and reapproval, certification auditing, advanced practice nurse, emergency medical services, and certified registered nurse anesthetist application processing; and

WHEREAS, Patty's integrity and commitment to the Nevada State Board of Nursing ensured that only qualified and competent nurses and nursing assistants received licensure and certification in Nevada; and

WHEREAS, Patty performed her duties professionally and ethically in her 30 years of service with the State of Nevada, during which time citizens of this state were fortunate to have her as an advocate and civil servant. She can leave her position with the knowledge that her honorable work helped enhance the health and well-being of Nevada's citizens; and

WHEREAS, in honor of Patty and in recognition of her significant contributions to the State of Nevada, her colleagues, friends and co-workers would like to thank and commend her for her years of devoted and honorable service, and extend their best wishes for a healthy, happy, prosperous, and fulfilling retirement;
