WHEREAS, Sue Hall is retiring from the Department of Motor Vehicles on January 2, 2024, after 29 years of professional excellence and loyal service to the State of Nevada; and
WHEREAS, Sue started her career with the Department of Motor Vehicles on February 13, 1995, working in the Phone Room; and
WHEREAS, Sue transferred to be a DMV Technician I at the Department of Motor Vehicles in December 1996. Sue continued to progress through the various ranks for Technician II and III; and
WHEREAS, Sue was promoted to a DMV Drive Examiner, in Mesquite, NV, on April 3, 2000. It was in Mesquite she promoted to DMV Supervisor on July 17, 2000; and
WHEREAS, Sue completed the Certified Program Manager certification in 2005 and she was promoted to Program Officer III at the Henderson DMV. Then she transferred to the Decatur DMV on July 12, 2010, where she finished her career; and
WHEREAS, Sue has endeared herself to all with her vast knowledge, dedication to service, and compassion for others; and
WHEREAS, Sue will be sincerely missed, both professionally and personally, by all those who had the pleasure and good fortune to work with her; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Motor Vehicles and the State of Nevada joins with co-workers and management in expressing our profound and sincere appreciation for Sue's 29 years of outstanding service to this department and the residents of our Silver State, earning her right to enjoy a well-deserved and happy retirement with her son, Sean and granddaughter, Nevaeh by her side;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOE LOMBARDO, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim January 1, 2024
