WHEREAS, Antonio Samson is a dedicated and exceptional public servant who has provided 32 years of professional excellence and loyal service to the State of Nevada; and

WHEREAS, Antonio served as the first Industrial Hygienist and Certified Industrial Hygienist for the Division of Industrial Relations, Safety Consultation and Training Section (SCATS) spearheading the acquisition of industrial hygiene equipment for hazard recognition and reduction; and

WHEREAS, Antonio was instrumental in developing the Safety and Health Recognition Program (SHARP); and

WHEREAS, Antonio has mentored countless SCATS consultants, passing along critical knowledge to ensure the health and safety of the public at large; and

WHEREAS, Antonio performed over 1,300 safety and health audits and served as the lead consultant for countless SHARP certification audits for Nevada employers who demonstrated an exemplary safety culture; and

WHEREAS, Antonio will end his esteemed State Career with the Division of Industrial Relations having been instrumental in protecting worker health and safety, and contributing to the overall well-being of the Nevada workforce and compliance with occupational health regulations; and

WHEREAS, Antonio has provided exceptional service demonstrating positivity, professionalism, knowledge, skill, creativity, integrity, and compassion throughout his career and he will be missed personally and professionally by all who have had the pleasure to work with him; and

WHEREAS, on behalf of all Nevadans, we would like to express our profound and sincere appreciation for Antonio's 32 years of outstanding and dedicated service to the Division of Industrial Relations and wish him a happy and fulfilling retirement;
