WHEREAS, Beverly Ghan has served the State of Nevada with professionalism, loyalty and excellence for 30 years; and
WHEREAS, Beverly began her career in state service as a Clerical Trainee with the Division of Human Resource Management on December 6, 1993; and
WHEREAS, Beverly continued her career progression serving as a Management Assistant 1 and 2, and then promoting to a Human Resource Technician 2, a Staff Professional Trainee, and a Human Resource Analyst 1, 2, and 3; and
WHEREAS, Beverly was not finished yet. She excelled in every position she held and further promoted to a Supervisory Human Resource Analyst, where she served the Division for four years; and
WHEREAS, finally, Beverly was appointed to the Deputy Administrator of Classification, Compensation, and Recruitment and settled into this position where she was respected by all she encountered. This is the position in which she would ultimately retire; and
WHEREAS, in honor of Beverly and in recognition of her dedication and sizable contributions to the State of Nevada, colleagues, friends, and coworkers would like to thank and commend her for the 30 years of devoted and honorable service and extend their best wishes for a happy, healthy, prosperous and fulfilling retirement;
