WHEREAS, Jessica Crouch began her state career as a Student Worker at the Division of Health Care Finance and Policy on January 23, 1998, was promoted to a Clerical Trainee on August 24th of that same year, promoting through the years, becoming an Administrative Assistant III on September 4, 2003; and

WHEREAS, Jessica became a Family Services Specialist I and was promoted to a Family Services Specialist II on April 3, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Jessica was then promoted to a Social Services Program Specialist I on April 27, 2009 with the Division of Health Care Finance and Policy, a Social Services Program Specialist II on April 27, 2010 and a Social Services Program Specialist III on August 23, 2011. On July 1, 2013, she transferred to the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services as the Specialist in charge of the Nevada Check-Up Program; and

WHEREAS, Jessica effortlessly bridged the gap between two separate agencies to ensure Nevada's children received services through the Nevada Check-Up Program; and

WHEREAS, Jessica worked with the federal government, state agencies, and local entities throughout her career to ensure the neediest Nevadans received the necessary benefits to help better their lives; and

WHEREAS, in recognition of Jessica's significant contributions to the State of Nevada, her friends and co-workers would like to thank and commend her for her years of devoted and honorable service and extend their best wishes for a happy, prosperous, and fulfilling retirement; her willingness to help others, humor and her unrelenting optimism will be greatly missed; and

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOE LOMBARDO, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim March 23, 2023 as a day in honor of
