WHEREAS, Angela has performed the primary and integral role of supporting the Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) mission of ensuring the provision of effective supports and services to meet the needs of individuals and families, helping them lead independent, meaningful and dignified lives; and

WHEREAS, Angela's recognition and support of individuals have provided boundless opportunities for individuals to be supported with Service Coordination from Desert Regional Center (DRC) to coordinate all services and resources that will help the individual to become more independent and capable of functioning fully as a citizen in the community. The areas that can be coordinated may include community living, vocational, educational, social/recreational, and financial; and

WHEREAS, Angela has always been willing to help DRC colleagues and subordinate staff, contracted provider agencies as a part of the DRC management team and in any projects when asked to share her knowledge; Angela is a team player and has a very positive attitude even through the most trying of times as evidenced through occurrences ranging from budget cuts, staff turnover, furloughs, disaster/relief, COVID-19 pandemic procedures and critical shortages Statewide; and

WHEREAS, Angela's personal commitment to the State of Nevada has been profoundly recognized by those who work with her in that she is an extremely dependable and caring person who works tirelessly for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and whose leadership, integrity and humanity have contributed to the success of individuals as well as to continuous system improvement and to achieving the critical mission of ADSD/DRC; and

WHEREAS, Angela now embarks on a new chapter of her life, the Department of Health and Human Services/ADSD on behalf of its employees and individuals extends to Angela Moein its sincere thanks and gratitude for her over 28 years of commitment to excellence and service to the citizens of the Silver State
