WHEREAS, Andrew Bowser has provided 30 years of dedication to public service for the State of Nevada having worked for State Industrial Insurance, Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services, 21 years with the Division of Child and Family Services Early Childhood Program and the last 7 years with the Aging and Disability Services Division, Sierra Regional Center; and

WHEREAS, Andrew Bowser has held licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Nevada and supported hundreds of children, adults, and families to improve their health and wellbeing; and

WHEREAS, Andrew Bowser has provided decades of behavioral health services with considerable skill, compassion, integrity, and kindness to so many people in Northern Nevada including young children, victims of domestic violence, youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities; and

WHEREAS, throughout his career Andrew Bowser has shared his gifts and talents with Nevada communities by providing talks, trainings, and educational opportunities to promote mental wellness, healing from trauma, and living with dignity; and

WHEREAS, Andrew Bowser has been a valued colleague and supervisor at Sierra Regional Center contributing immensely to the quality of life within the workplace. He has carried out his public service with person centered thinking and a commitment to improve not only the lives of clients and individuals served but also coworkers, community members, friends, and family. He will be missed immensely by all who have worked with him; and

WHEREAS, Andrew Bowser has spent countless hours of his time promoting sportsmanship, honesty, team work, fairness and fun to youth soccer programs in Nevada;

WHEREAS, On behalf of the citizens of the State of Nevada, we would like to thank and commend Andrew Bowser for his many years of dedicated and honorable service to our Silver State and wish him continued success in all of his future endeavors
