In 2017, Rique was appointed Deputy Administrator of the Nevada Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD), overseeing children’s services and leading strategic planning, advocacy, and community programs that serve Nevadans across all stages of life.

“I am deeply honored by the trust Governor Lombardo has placed in me and grateful for the opportunity to serve as Interim Director of the Department of Human Services. During this transition, I am committed to supporting the Department’s exceptional team, whose dedication to serving Nevadans inspires me daily, and to advancing the Governor’s priorities as the search for a permanent Director continues," said Interim Director Robb.

With over 35 years of experience working with children, older adults, and individuals with disabilities, Rique offers extensive expertise in program development, collaboration, and systems-level leadership. In June 2025, she was appointed Administrator of ADSD, where she championed the division’s mission: to ensure Nevadans of all ages and abilities lead meaningful lives with dignity and independence.
