WHEREAS, Timothy Morrissey has served the State of Nevada with distinction and professional excellence for more than 30 years; and

WHEREAS, Timothy began his career in State service with the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation in May 1992 as an Unemployment Claims Examiner; and

WHEREAS, in January 1994, Timothy was promoted to an Unemployment Adjudicator and three years later to an Adjudication Supervisor; and

WHEREAS, in August 2009, Timothy was promoted to the position of Appeals Referee, a position he held with pride for the remainder of his career; and

WHEREAS, Timothy’s sunny disposition, warm smile and dedicated service to the citizens of Nevada will always be remembered by those who had the pleasure and good fortune to work with him; and

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada commends Timothy Morrissey for his long and distinguished career of service to the citizens of our great State and offers best wishes for a happy and fulfilling requirement;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, STEVE SISOLAK, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim May 13, 2022, as a day in honor of
