WHEREAS, Sarina Sue Baldassare served the State of Nevada with distinction and professional excellence for over 25 years under five Governors; and

WHEREAS, Sarina began her career in State service with the Commission on Economic Development/Nevada Film Office in 1996 as a Clerical Trainee, eventually progressing to a Program Assistant II in 2000; and

WHEREAS, Sarina was promoted to Administrative Assistant III with the Commission on Economic Development/Procurement Outreach Program in 2004, and in 2012, Sarina was promoted to Nevada Secretary of State/Commercial Recordings Division; and

WHEREAS, in 2016, Sarina began working at Nevada Secretary of State/IT Department as an IT Technician II; and soon was promoted to Nevada Department of Corrections as an IT Technician IV, working the Help Desk for one month shy of five years; and

WHEREAS, Sarina transitioned into the role of a Business Process Analyst I in 2020 with the Nevada Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training, and will be retiring as a Business Process Analyst II with the Department where she implemented business process improvements and helped maintain all IT systems; and

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada thanks Sarina Sue Baldassare for her years of dedicated service to the residents and visitors of our great State and offers best wishes for a happy and fulfilling retirement;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, STEVE SISOLAK, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim April 29, 2022, as a day in honor of
