WHEREAS, Griselda Madera is retiring from the Department of Motor Vehicles, Central Service Division, on October 14, 2022 after more than 27 years of professional excellence and devoted service to the State of Nevada; and

WHEREAS, Griselda started her career with the State of Nevada in December 1994 with the Department of Business and Industry as a clerical trainee with the Real Estate Division. Griselda was promoted quickly to serve at the pleasure of Governor Miller from 1995 to 1996 as an executive assistant; and

WHEREAS, For the past 25 years Griselda Madera has served the State of Nevada and its citizens at the Department of Motor Vehicles, Central Services Division, holding various positions most notably DMV Services Manager 1; and

WHEREAS, Griselda Madera, throughout her public service career, was viewed as a tireless public servant who has provided decades of exceptional service to the State of Nevada and made a positive impact on her employees and the constituents of this great state; and

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada commends Griselda Madera on her exceptional tenure as a dedicated State of Nevada Employee and joins her family, friends and colleagues in extending sincere appreciation for her years of dedicated service, with best wishes for a happy and fulfilling retirement;
