WHEREAS, Anna Siefert has had an exemplary career, spanning 40 years with 30 leaders in leadership and management, including training, facilitation, program development, retail, banking management, human resources and customer service; and

WHEREAS, Anna served for six years as the Nevada Development Community Development Liaison for the Women's Business Enterprise Council - West (WBEC-West); and

WHEREAS, Anna was the first Nevadan to be featured in the Las Vegas Review Journal as "Nevadan At Work" in 2000; and

WHEREAS, Anna is devoted to serving the community and has served on numerous boards and committees, including Nevada Contractor Association - Diversity & Inclusion Council and Chair of the State of Nevada - Commission on Minority Affairs; and

WHEREAS, Anna's passion to serve small businesses has earned her numerous awards and recognition, including Urban Chamber of Commerce Women in Business & Politics Award; three awards from U.S. Small Business Administration; (1) Small Business Lifetime Advocate Award (2) Nevada Michael Graham Entrepreneurial Spirit Award and (3) Financial Advocacy Award; National Association of Women Business Owners Women of Distinction Award; and Nevada Minority Supplier Development Council Advocate of the Year Award; and

WHEREAS, Anna's service to the business community, particularly the small business community, will be sorely missed;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, STEVE SISOLAK, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim April 2, 2021, as a day in honor of
