
WHEREAS, Lynn Adams served the State of Nevada with distinction and professional excellence for 25 years; and
WHEREAS, Lynn began her career in State Service with the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation on December 23, 1994, as a Clerical Trainee for the Unemployment Division; and
WHEREAS, in 1996 she was promoted to an Employment Security Specialist I, and then in 1997 she progressed to an Employment Security Specialist II; and
WHEREAS, Lynn was promoted to Unemployment Insurance Representative II and then in 2007 she was promoted to Unemployment Insurance Representative IV, where she served as a Quality Control Investigator IV; and
WHEREAS, Lynn’s excellent analytical and investigative skills, quest for excellence in her work, dynamic work ethic, natural ability to mentor and coach others and drive to provide excellent services to individuals has set an example in State Service for all who have had the opportunity to work with her; and
WHEREAS, the State of Nevada thanks Lynn Adams for her years of dedicated service to the citizens and visitors of our great state and offers best wishes for a happy and fulfilling retirement;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, STEVE SISOLAK, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim January 20, 2020 as a day in honor of
