
WHEREAS, Dale Liebherr has served the State of Nevada with distinction and professional excellence for 26 years; and
WHEREAS, Dale began his career in state service as an Investigator at the Office of the Attorney General in 1993; and
WHEREAS, Dale transferred to the Workers’ Compensation Fraud Unit as an Investigator in 1998 and was promoted to Chief of this unit in 2003; and
WHEREAS, in 2011, Dale promoted to Chief of the Investigation Unit with the Office of the Attorney General, dutifully serving in this role until 2015; and
WHEREAS, Dale joined the Nevada Department of Public Safety as an Officer II in 2015, and later became Chief of Capitol Police in 2018, where he will be retiring from state service; and
WHEREAS, Dale will be sincerely missed, both professionally and personally, by all those who had the pleasure and good fortune to work with her; and
WHEREAS, the State of Nevada thanks Dale Liebherr for his years of service to the citizens and visitors of our great state and offers best wishes for a happy and fulfilling retirement;
