On Friday, Governor Steve Sisolak will host a roundtable with the Nevada Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence bringing together organizations from Northern and Southern Nevada to discuss work being done to prevent domestic violence and help victim-survivors during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The Governor proclaimed October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month to remember and honor all victim-survivors, raise awareness to help prevent and eliminate domestic violence and to recognize, celebrate and support the work of advocacy organizations in Nevada.
The roundtable will be held in Las Vegas with the Governor, with virtual participation from advocates in Northern Nevada.
