This afternoon, the Governor visited Western Nevada College and toured programs funded by the State as the second day of the fall semester got underway. This included a visit to the Commercial Driver’s License Training Program, the school’s food pantry and the Paramedicine Program.
“I’m so proud to see investments from the State in action – providing education and training to higher education students and a direct path into the workforce with hands-on experience,” said Governor Steve Sisolak. “Thanks to the work done by the Governor’s Office of Science, Innovation and Technology and the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, we’ve been able to directly invest federal and state dollars into programs that make a difference for Nevadans.”
