LAS VEGAS, NV – June 15, 2021
Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak will host a brief media availability Wednesday, June 16 at 11 a.m. after touring Dell H. Robison Middle School, a Clark County School District building set to benefit from recently signed legislation that allows school districts to use excess revenues from existing tax rates to fund capital improvement projects without affecting existing debt payments or reserve funds.
Due to ongoing summer school activities, the tour itself will not be open to the press. The Governor, CCSD Superintendent Dr. Jesus Jara and Robison Principal Immer Liza Ravalo will be available after the tour to discuss the legislation and how it will impact the school.
Press is asked to RSVP by 9 a.m. Wednesday at firstname.lastname@example.org. The school is located at 825 Marion Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89110
