Governor Sisolak Announces Nevada Health Response Center Communications Officers

Today, Governor Steve Sisolak named two communications officers to the Nevada Health Response Center to help provide crucial up-to-date information during the COVID-19 crisis: Meghin Delaney, who will serve as Public Information Officer, and James Humm, who will serve as press assistant.

“Meghin Delaney is a highly respected communications professional who has extensive experience in government and the newsroom, and I am excited to have her lead and coordinate all communications surrounding COVID-19 among State, local, and other health partners,” said Governor Sisolak. “I’m also pleased to have James Humm, a State of Nevada veteran who has worn many hats in the communications and government affairs spaces, assist Meghin in this critical role.”

Meghin is currently Communications Coordinator at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN), and James Humm serves as Director of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs for the Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED). Meghin and James will serve in the temporary COVID-19 communications roles for the duration of the state of emergency in Nevada.
