At the direction of the President of the United States, Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo has ordered the United States and the State of Nevada flags to be lowered to half-staff in honor of National Firefighters Memorial Service Day on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
Accordingly, since no flag should fly higher than the United States flag, all other flags should be lowered during this time, including state, municipal, corporate, or otherwise.
