
WHEREAS, Marcella "Marcy" Haime is retiring on May 31, 2022, after twenty-five years of distinguished service to the State of Nevada; and
WHEREAS, Marcy has worked continuously as a Rehabilitation Technician for the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation; and
WHEREAS, Marcy greatly served the citizens of Nevada throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic by working long hours, ensuring that critical processes were completed successfully; and
WHEREAS, Marcy demonstrated tremendous work ethic and quality of work, while providing exceptional customer service; her quest for excellence in her work, her drive to provide exemplary services to individuals has set the standard in State service for all who have had the opportunity to work with he; and
WHEREAS, Marcy's personal commitment to the agency has been profoundly recognized by those who work with her, both clients and staff, she has proven herself to be an extremely intelligent person, always working diligently, and now embarks on a new chapter of her life; and
WHEREAS, Marcy is always willing to help other BVR staff when asked and share her knowledge. She is extremely helpful and shows the team spirit and direction to all staff. She has a very positive attitude even through trying times; and
WHEREAS, the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation on behalf of its employees and customers extend to Marcella Haime its sincere thanks and gratitude for her twenty-five years of commitment to excellence and service to the citizens of the Silver State;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, STEVE SISOLAK, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim May 27, 2022, as a day in honor of
