WHEREAS, Jenni Johnson has worked for the State of Nevada for 20 years - all of which was at Rural Clinics; and

WHEREAS, Jenni Johnson began her career with the State in 2002 as a Psychiatric Caseworker working with children: being an advocate for them when they needed one, using her tenacity and fighting spirit to make sure the youth of the Silver State had their mental health needs met; and

WHEREAS Jenni Johnson became a therapist with Rural Clinics sharing her clinical expertise and superior therapeutic skills with consumers and peers alike; and

WHEREAS, Jenni Johnson became a Clinical Program Manager, as a Clinic Director of Douglas, in 2013. Since that time, she has grown her team to include being the Clinic Director over both Hawthorne and Yerington and supervising approximately 15 people; and

WHEREAS, Jenni Johnson has been a tireless advocate in the Carson Valley - collaborating with such partners as the Douglas County Mobile Outreach Safety Team (MOST), Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) Committee, Douglas County Behavioral Health Tasks Force, as well as other community-level activities; and

WHEREAS, Jenni Johnson is ending her career with Rural Clinics where her excellent leadership skills, combined with her humor, general kindness, and understanding have exemplified the true meaning of TEAM, making it easy for her employees to come to work and has left a lasting impression on everyone who have worked with her; and

WHEREAS, Jenni Johnson has led by example of how to treat others with grace and respect and her legacy will continue to be carried on as a lesson learned by everyone she has worked with; and

WHEREAS, Jenni Johnson has served Nevadans with consistent professionalism, empathy, and compassion while demonstrating appropriate boundaries. Jenni will be gratefully remembered and is wished a wonderful next journey of much happiness and stress-free joy in her retirement. All of Rural Clinics are grateful for everything she has done and the amazing person she is. She ends her career with well-wishes from all her colleagues;
