WHEREAS, Margaret Lilley is retiring from the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Welfare and Supportive Services, on August 02, 2021, after 30 years of loyal, dedicated, and exceptional public service to the State of Nevada; and

WHEREAS, Margaret began her public service with the State of Nevada as a CWEP from January 1990 to January 1991, she was hired on February 04, 1991 as a Clerical Trainee, at the Belrose District Office for six months, she then promoted to Administrative Aide 1 August 1991 through August 2008. In August 2008 she transferred to the CAC District Office through August 2009. She transferred back to Belrose District Office September 2009 through October 2010. She then transferred to the Southern Professional Development Center from November 2010 through March 2016 to help implement their new DISC/Scanning department. She then transferred her final time to help open the Division’s newest office the Decatur District Office from March 2016 through August 2021; and

WHEREAS, Margaret has worked under the leadership of five Nevada Governors: Bob Miller, Kenny Guinn, Jim Gibbons, Brian Sandoval and Steve Sisolak; and

WHEREAS, Margaret has distinguished herself through commitment and service throughout the years and will sincerely be missed, both professionally and personally by all who have had the pleasure and good fortune to work with her; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Welfare and Supportive Service, on behalf of its employees, extends to Margaret a sincere thanks and gratitude for her commitment to excellence and service to the citizens of the Silver State; Enjoy your retirement and Grandchildren while enjoying life one day at a time;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, STEVE SISOLAK, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim the day of August 2, 2021, as a day in honor of
