WHEREAS, Brian Lacy has served the State of Nevada in public safety with distinction and professional excellence for over twenty-five years; and

WHEREAS, Brian began his career in State service with the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles, Field Services Division in 1996 where he worked diligently until he transferred to the Compliance Enforcement Division in 2001; and

WHEREAS, Brian's exceptional work ethic led to the promotion of Sergeant in the Fraud Section of the Compliance Enforcement Division, where he will be retiring as Sergeant of the Fraud Enforcement Section of the Department of Motor Vehicles, Compliance Enforcement Division; and

WHEREAS, Brian demonstrated commendable leadership, grace, diligence and competence while he led the Fraud Section of DMV's Compliance Enforcement Division; and

WHEREAS, Brian's expansive depth of knowledge, dedication, and commitment to his work will be sincerely missed by all those who had the pleasure and good fortune to work with him; and

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada thanks Brian Lacy for his years of dedicated service in public safety for the citizens and visitors of our great State and offers best wishes for a happy and fulfilling retirement;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, STEVE SISOLAK, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim December 17, 2021, as a day in honor of
