ICYMI: Governor Sisolak to read to kids, visit school construction site

CARSON CITY, NV – July 29, 2021

Tomorrow, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak and the Washoe County Library System are partnering for a special in-person story time event where he will read to kids at the historic Downtown Reno Library. Soon after, he will visit the construction site of the new Procter Hug High School campus and tour the facility. This will be the first Washoe County School District high school to be constructed in nearly two decades.

Below are details for tomorrow’s visits:

Downtown Reno Library:

  • Time: 1:15 p.m.
  • Location: 301 S. Center Street, Reno, NV, 89501

Procter Hug High School Construction Site Visit:

  • Time: 2:15 p.m.
  • Location: 3500 Sullivan Lane, Sparks, NV, 89431 (golf course entrance – we will meet there and drive to the school location)
