CARSON CITY, Nevada – January 14, 2021
Today, by executive order, Governor Steve Sisolak ordered the State of Nevada flags at the State Capitol and State public buildings and grounds to be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset on Friday, January 14, 2021 as a mark of solemn respect and in remembrance of Sheldon Adelson.
“We will lower the flags and give our esteemed recognition to Sheldon, a man who believed in, succeeded in, and invested in bold and daring ideas that changed the State of Nevada,” said Gov. Sisolak. “Kathy and I continue to extend our deepest sympathies to Dr. Adelson, his children, and all of his family and friends during this difficult time.”
