At the direction of the President of the United States, Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo has ordered the United States and the State of Nevada flags to be lowered to half-staff on in honor of Memorial Day. On Monday, May 29, 2023, the flags will be lowered to half-staff at 12:01 am and raised to full-staff at noon. The Memorial Day Proclamation from the White House can be found here.
Accordingly, since no flag should fly higher than the U.S. flag, all other flags, including state,
municipal, corporate, or otherwise, should also be lowered during this same duration of time.
