HONORS FIFTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT JUDGE JOHN P. DAVIS
CARSON CITY, NV – Governor Brian Sandoval today issued an executive order ordering all state flags to half staff in remembrance of Fifth Judicial District Court Judge John P. Davis, a district court judge in Nye County for the last 20 years who died yesterday.
“Judge Davis spent twenty years serving the people of the state of Nevada as a District Court judge and I believe it is appropriate to honor Judge Davis’s devotion to public service and his contribution to our state in this manner,” Governor Sandoval said.
Flags will remain at half-staff until sunset tomorrow, Friday, January 28, 2011.
