WEDNESDAY AT 5 P.M: Governor Sisolak to update Nevadans on COVID-19 response, reopening

Carson City, NV - June 23, 2020

Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak will hold a press conference Wednesday, June 24, to provide an update on Nevada’s ongoing response to COVID19.

The press conference will be held at 5 p.m., inside Room 2149 of the Nevada State Legislature in Carson City and will be streamed online on the leg.state.nv.us website.

Members of the media may enter the building after 4:30 p.m. and are asked to enter through the rear, near the East entrance by the parking garage. Reporters must wear face coverings and will be subject to temperature screenings upon entrance.

TV stations will be able to bring in their own camera equipment but must set up their cameras six feet apart, and are asked to limit the size of their crew to maintain social distancing during the press conference.

To ensure a clear audio and visual feed of the Governor, the press conference will not be able to accommodate a phone-in feed for reporters who are not physically present. Reporters are encouraged to work with their sister/affiliate stations to obtain the feed and submit questions in advance.
