WHEREAS, Dianna Arnold is retiring from the Department of Motor Vehicles on January 2, 2024, after 26 years of professional excellence and loyal service to the State of Nevada; and

WHEREAS, Dianna started her career with the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles on October 20, 1997, working as a technician trainee in the Field Services Division at the Sahara office; and

WHEREAS, Dianna served the citizens of the great State of Nevada for over 10 years while working the front line and being an integral part of the DMV Travel Team; and

WHEREAS, Dianna was promoted from a technician to training as a Program Officer II on March 26, 2007, dedicating more than 16 years to training; and

WHEREAS, Dianna will be sincerely missed, both professionally and personally, by all those who had the pleasure and good fortune to work with her; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Motor Vehicles and the State of Nevada join alongside her co-workers and management in expressing our profound and sincere appreciation for Dianna's 26 years of outstanding service to this department and the residents of the Silver State, earning her the right to enjoy a well-deserved and happy retirement with her husband Kevin and her children by her side;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOE LOMBARDO, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim January 2, 2024 as a day in honor of
