WHEREAS, Lori Kreck has served the State of Nevada with distinction, and professional excellence for 30 years; and

WHEREAS, Lori began her career in state service as a clerical trainee with the Department of Employment and Training on January 18, 1994; and

WHEREAS, Lori continued her administrative career with Nevada's National Guard and the Division of Health Care Finance and Policy where she promoted to Family Services Specialist I on December 20, 2002, and further worked as a Family Specialist II; and

WHEREAS, Lori was promoted to Quality Control Specialist I with the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services on October 22, 2007, to Social Services Program Specialist II with Division of Health Care Finance and Policy on February 6, 2012, and then returned to the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services on November 11, 2013, as a Hearing officer I, where she presided over many public assistance appeals; and

WHEREAS, Lori performed her duties professionally and ethically in her 30 years of service with the State of Nevada, during which time needy citizens of this state were fortunate to have her as an advocate and civil servant. She can leave her position with the knowledge that her honorable work helped Nevadans and improved her community and state; and

WHEREAS, in honor of Lori and in recognition of her significant contributions to the State of Nevada, colleagues, friends and co-workers would like to thank and commend her for her years of devoted and honorable service, and extend their best wishes for a healthy, happy, prosperous, and fulfilling retirement;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOE LOMBARDO, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim April 4, 2024, as
