CARSON CITY, NV – March 01, 2024
Due to the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) and the Department of Public Safety (DPS) reporting severe weather and potentially dangerous road conditions worsening over the next several hours, Governor Joe Lombardo has ordered all State executive branch government offices (other than essential public safety and corrections personnel) close at 1:30pm on Friday, March 1, 2024, in Carson City, Douglas County, Lyon County, Storey County, and Washoe County.
The Governor’s office will continue to monitor weather conditions. Governor Lombardo urges northern Nevadans to take caution on roadways and to follow all NDOT and DPS guidance.
