WHEREAS, Alys Dobel has served the State of Nevada with distinction and professional excellence for 34 years; and

WHEREAS, Alys began her career in state service with the University of Nevada, Reno in 1985 as an Administrative Aid, and then transferred to Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health as a Personnel Technician III in 1997; and

WHEREAS, she continued to promote over the years, including serving as a Personnel Analyst III, and she will be retiring as a Personnel Officer II with the Department of Motor Vehicles; and

WHEREAS, Alys’ immeasurable knowledge, dedication and compassion for her work will be sincerely missed by all those who had the pleasure and good fortune to work with her; and

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada thanks Alys Dobel for her years of dedicated service to the citizens and visitors of our great state and offers best wishes for a happy and fulfilling retirement;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, STEVE SISOLAK, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim February 14, 2020, as a day in honor of
