WHEREAS, Gayle Willmoth has served the State of Nevada with distinction and professional excellence for more than 30 years; and

WHEREAS, Gayle began her career in state service as a Seasonal Data Entry Operator in 1987 with the Department of Wildlife and then promoted to Program Officer; and

WHEREAS, Gayle then transferred as a Program Officer to the University of Nevada, Reno, where she assisted students and faculty during the University’s transition off the DARS system; and

WHEREAS, she was then promoted to Business Process Analyst for the Nevada Dairy Commission, moving their licensing process into the digital age and assisting in the merge of the commission to the Department of Agriculture, where she later promoted to IT Manager II; and

WHEREAS, during her tenure, Gayle distinguished herself through her commitment, leadership and dedication to improving programs across the state, and she will be missed both professionally and personally by all those who have had the pleasure to work with her; and

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada commends Gayle Willmoth for her years of service to the citizens and visitors of our great state and offers best wishes for a happy and fulfilling retirement;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, STEVE SISOLAK, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim October 9, 2019, as a day in honor of
