WHEREAS, Brenda Graske has served the State of Nevada with distinction and professional excellence for 31 years; and

WHEREAS, Brenda began her career in state service on March 1,1988, as an Administrative Assistant I for the Bureau of Services to Persons who are Blind or Visually Impaired; and

WHEREAS, through hard work and determination, Brenda has promoted from an Administrative Assistant to a Rehabilitation Counselor and then to a Rehabilitation Supervisor’s position where she has implemented many programs to benefit our clients; and

WHEREAS, Brenda was instrumental in the creation of transition programs such as the Job Exploration & Expectation Program (JEEP), the Career, Recreation, and Vocational Education Summer Camp (CRAVE) and the Project Search program with the Clark County School District which will continue to serve our students in Nevada for many years to come; and

WHEREAS, Brenda has remained a passionate advocate for our youth and students with disabilities regarding their right to an independent and secure future; and

WHEREAS, through Brenda's dedication, guidance, and positive influence, she has earned the respect of her co-workers and clients; and

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada commends Brenda Graske for her years of service to the citizens and visitors of our great state and offers best wishes for a happy and fulfilling retirement;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, STEVE SISOLAK, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim April 5, 2019, as a day in honor of
