WHEREAS, Kimberly Morigeau is retiring after 30 years of outstanding service to the State of Nevada; and

WHEREAS, Kim began her career on March 2, 1987 as an Administrative Assistant I with the Nevada Employment Security Department, and is retiring as an Employment Security Division Program Specialist III with the Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation; and

WHEREAS, Kim has been instrumental in the creation of several critical State programs, including the Claimant Employment Program and the Re-employment Services and Eligibility Assessment Program; and

WHEREAS, Kim's excellent management skills, her dedication to her work, and her strong work ethic set an example for the Division; and

WHEREAS, Kim is noted for her commitment, perseverance, and compassion in her service to the Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation and the Employment Security Division, and throughout her career has exhibited drive and vision to improve service to the public; and

WHEREAS, Kim has demonstrated the highest professional standards in her work; and

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada commends Kimberly Morigeau on her outstanding tenure as a dedicated State employee and joins her family,friends and colleagues in extending sincere appreciation for her years of service, with best wishes for a happy and.fulfilling retirement;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BRIAN SANDOVAL, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim  March 3, 2017 as a day in honor of
