WHEREAS, James Maxey has faithfully devoted more than 27 years of public service to the State of Nevada, serving in a variety of roles with multiple state agencies and doing so with distinction and dedication; and
WHEREAS, throughout more than two decades of public service, James Maxey has served as a Highway Construction Aide for the Nevada Department of Transportation, a Health Information Coordinator 1, and a Program Officer 1 for the Nevada Department of Corrections; and
WHEREAS, James has developed a sterling reputation in the workplace, and is regarded by his friends and co-workers as a team player who is consistently helpful, understanding, and creative, as well as self-motivated and energetic; and
WHEREAS, James’s work ethic and dedication to his role in State service are complemented by the balance he has struck between his professional responsibilities and his devotion to spending time with his family, enriching the lives of those around him, and pursuing his hobbies and other interests; and
WHEREAS, the State of Nevada commends James Maxey on his outstanding tenure as a dedicated State employee and joins his family, friends and colleagues in extending sincere appreciation to him for his years of service, with best wishes for a happy and fulfilling retirement;
