WHEREAS, Greg Ramos has served the State of Nevada in many departments, beginning in July 1994; and

WHEREAS, he started his career with the State of Nevada in the Department of Motor Vehicles/Public Safety as a Tech II; and

WHEREAShe transferred to the Nevada Secretary of State's Office in January 2001 where he worked to serve the citizens of the Silver State; and 

WHEREAS, Greg moved to the Copies Division of the Secretary of State's Office, where he and his co-workers were famous for 'Name That Song,' and he later served in the New Filings Division; and

WHEREAS, Greg has served under the leadership of Dean Heller, Ross Miller and Barbara Cegavske in the Secretary of State's Office; and

WHEREAS, Greg will be remembered for his hard work and dedication, as well as his outgoing personality and decorations during the holiday season; and

WHEREAS, the State of Nevada commends Greg on his outstanding tenure as a dedicated State employee with admiration for his many contributions which have benefitted Nevadans; and joins his friends and colleagues at the Secretary of State's Office in wishing him a hearty congratulations and thank you for a job well done, with best wishes for a happy and fulfilling retirement;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BRIAN SANDOVAL, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, do hereby proclaim  December 14, 2016 as a day in honor of
