WHEREAS, Danielle Fancher, will leave the State of Nevada, Department of Public Safety, General Services Division, on July 13,2016, after 18 years of dedicated public service in support of law enforcement and public safety; and
WHEREAS, Danielle Fancher is a dedicated and exceptional public servant who has diligently sewed not only the citizens of Nevada, but citizens across the country and abroad who were adopting children and who required expedited background checks; and
WHEREAS, for the past 18 years, Danielle Fancher has served in the Fingerprint Support Civil Unit and has processed an estimated 2 million background checks; and
WHEREAS, Danielle Fancher is admired by colleagues for her affinity for holidays and special festivities, including the Christmas holiday, and for the past 18 years she was the official Division Time Keeper for the Christmas countdown, beginning on December 26th of each year; and
WHEREAS, Danielle Fancher plans to enjoy her retirement and devote her energies to hobbies such as sewing her beautiful quilts, spending time with family, traveling, and counting down the days until Christmas; and
