Governor Brian Sandoval issued a statement today encouraging all Nevadans to review and apply for State of Nevada board and commission vacancies. Requirements set forth by state statutes, federal laws, and executive orders provide the Governor with the authority to appoint thousands of Nevadans to serve on more than 200 boards, commissions, councils and task forces. Recently the application process has been placed online and Nevadans are encouraged to view current vacancies and apply to serve by following this link: http://1.usa.gov/1QpVXZm

I would encourage all Nevadans to learn more about current openings and submit an application as the first step toward utilizing their talents in state service. I would also like to thank the hundreds of Nevadans who currently serve in this capacity for their dedication and commitment to the Silver State,” said Governor Brian Sandoval.
