Media Advisory: Governor Sandoval to Sign Special Session Bills Tomorrow in Las Vegas

Governor Brian Sandoval will sign into law Senate Bill 1 and Assembly Bill 1, the legislation passed to enhance southern Nevada’s tourism infrastructure and public safety. The signing will take place tomorrow, Monday October 17th at 11:00 a.m. at the Richard TAM Alumni Center at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as a result of last week's Special Session of the Nevada Legislature. The event will include members of the Nevada Legislature, local elected officials, leaders from the gaming industry, business community and labor unions, representatives from the Raiders, UNLV students and administration, LVCVA President and CEO Rossi Ralenkotter, GOED Director Steve Hill, Sheriff Joe Lombardo, and Southern Nevada Tourism Infrastructure Committee appointees.

TIME: 11:00 a.m.

LOCATION: Richard TAM Alumni Center, University of Nevada, Las Vegas The Center is located to the immediate right of the UNLV main entrance on Maude Frazier Way directly off of Harmon Avenue and Maryland Parkway. 

PARKING: There will be overflow parking available on the 5th and 6th floors of the Cottage Grove Parking Garage on Cottage Grove on north end of campus near Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall and in the dirt lot on the east side of Maryland Parkway across from the Student Union.
