“I am proud that the Las Vegas Veterans Memorial Foundation has chosen to partner with the State of Nevada to honor and remember all who have served our nation through the establishment of this world-class memorial.” said Governor Brian Sandoval.
The Nevada Veterans Memorial is a national monument recognizing the service and sacrifice of American veterans and their families. The two-acre memorial and park features 18 larger-than-life statues, from the Revolutionary War to the Global War on Terror. All materials and costs associated with construction of the memorial were donated by local companies or paid for by the Las Vegas Veterans Memorial Foundation, a tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization and American Shooters, Inc., a veteran operated business in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Foundation has partnered with the State of Nevada which is providing both a location and the support necessary for its successful completion.
