CARSON CITY, NV - May 10, 2016
The agenda for the second meeting of the Gaming Policy Committee has been posted online and is included as an attachment on this email. This meeting will focus on E-Sports and the next generation of gaming.
“Technology has disrupted the way we communicate, our modes of transportation, and increased transparency in government. In order to remain the global leader in gaming policy and innovation, we should embrace the opportunities found in merging technology with this evolving and competitive industry,” said Governor Brian Sandoval. “The Millennial Generation has different entertainment expectations and represents a new era of gaming consumers. The Gaming Policy Committee is the right place to continue an important discussion on how Nevada can best position itself as the global leader in e-sports and the next generation of gaming.”
