Governor Brian Sandoval released the following following statement after Assemblyman Pat Hickey announced he would retire.

“Since he was first elected to the Nevada Assembly in 1996, Pat Hickey has been a steadfast and effective legislator who diligently represented the interests of his constituents. Throughout his time as a lawmaker, Assemblyman Hickey demonstrated his commitment to the highest ideals of public service, and his legislative achievements over four regular sessions and two special session reflect his deep devotion to the Silver State," said Governor Brian Sandoval. "Assemblyman Hickey leaves a legacy of service that will resonate in Nevada for years to come. I am grateful to Pat for his exemplary service, and I wish him all the best on his retirement from the Nevada Assembly.”
