Governor Brian Sandoval launched a three day “Discover Your Nevada” tour yesterday spanning over 1,100 miles across the Silver State. Sandoval and Chief of Staff Mike Willden kicked off the 14-county tour on Nevada’s Highway 50 the Loneliest Road in America travelling from Carson City to Ely, Nevada yesterday afternoon. Sandoval is scheduled to visit nine Nevada State Parks, the Caliente Youth Correctional Facility, and local rural attractions.

“The Nevada State Parks Passport offers a unique guide so Nevadans can map out world-class adventures right here in the Silver State. Travelling on the Loneliest Road in America, experiencing the wide open spaces of the Great Basin, and photographing the dramatic patterns of Cathedral Gorge provide a perfect backdrop to the story of the Nevada family,” said Governor Brian Sandoval. “I encourage all Nevadans to explore beyond the communities where you live and Discover Your Nevada.”
