Governor Brian Sandoval today made the following statement after learning that the two victims of the plane crash in Boulder City on Sunday were members of the Nevada National Guard:

“I was saddened to hear of the deaths of Nevada Army National Guard Soldiers Sgt. 1st Class Joseph Edwards IV and Pfc. Cody Allen Hall in what appears to be an airplane crash in Boulder City on Sunday. Though Sgt. Edwards and Pfc. Hall were flying in a civilian capacity, they are both members of our greater Nevada family. Kathleen and I, along with the entire Nevada National Guard, extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Sgt. Edwards and Pfc. Hall. Each man stepped forward to serve his state and our country and their loss will be felt throughout Nevada.”
